Beware the Cardigan!
Now I’ll admit that at first I wasn’t immediately loving the idea of the cardigan resurfacing but I am absolutely convinced. They are back with a vengenance! But don’t be fooled. Just because something gains popularity in the fashion world doesn’t mean that any cardigan you see is in style.
If you don’t do your homework you could end up looking like a thrift store disaster.
So, let’s look at what’s out there that is worth stepping out of your comfort zone. For those who are willing to take the risk there’s quite a bit out there that’s worth all the hype.
This look from Banana Republic is just flatout killer!
These two from Fred Perry have a great collegiate look.But, just in case you can’t quite get yourself to break out of your comfort zone here are a few that might be easier to work into your wardrobe.
Trying for a zipper instead of buttons can make it alot easier to make the switch. Then you can switch to something a little more adventurous later.
You can go as plain or as crazy as you want. If I can give you just one rule to follow make sure that it’s fitted. If you go with anything baggy you will risk looking like you just broke out the retirement home.
